SONU RAY is an associate with the firm's Labor and Employment practice group. Ms. Ray represents and advises management in all aspects of labor and employment law. She has experience defending employers in connection with employment disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, union contracts, and restrictive covenants. She also counsels employers in a range of industries on daily employment issues, such as avoidance of litigation, disability accommodations, leaves of absences, employment contracts and separation agreements, reductions in force, unfair labor practices, and compliance with various federal, state, and local employment laws.

She is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. Ms. Ray is also admitted to the United States Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Ray earned her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University, where she served as a Senior Editor on the Seton Hall Law Review, and was a member of the Seton Hall Moot Court Board. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Faith S. Hochberg of the United States Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, summa cum laude, from Drew University.
